On 6 June, Melkweg opens its doors for THE PLATFORM with the launch of their fashion collective, in collaboration with seven multidisciplinary artists. The evening kicks off at 21:00 with THE LAUNCH, a free exhibition packed with music, clothing, art and performance pieces by the likes of Lara Renner, Brendy Zihna, Roy is a Mess and Kees Hollander. Work by Archangels and Michael Ekow will also be on show.
From 23:00, THE CLUBNIGHT kicks off with a fashion show by GATTO, WAZA and BATUHAN. After that, the DJs take over, featuring a set by the iconic MCMLXXXV (Herrensauna, Berlin) alongside local stars Tizi, Camy Huot, Barroskini and CDJ-666 — with live performances by three members of the RennerRenner collective.
Expect a night full of beats, mayhem and creativity lasting deep into the early hours.

THE PLATFORM is the physical intersection of art, music and fashion. Rooted in Amsterdam’s underground scene, the project brings together the most forward-thinking creative talents. Whether it’s a fashion show fused with an art exhibition and an 80m² cardboard castle for the afterparty, or a skate competition next to a punk concert — it's all about amplifying the voices within the community. THE PLATFORM creates collective experiences where people from different backgrounds and disciplines come together in open and safer spaces.
